2024 LAHPERD Convention - November 6-8, 2024

LAHPERD is excited that we will have two pre-convention workshops at the same time this year on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge. 

The pre-convention workshop is open phys ed: 8:30 am-3:30 pm.

Stephanie Dickson, an Open Phys Ed Trainer, has over 25 years of teaching experience in all K-12 levels. Stephanie is the PE teacher for K-5th grade in Lawrence, KS. She works with preservice PE students at the Kansas University School of Education with contact and observation hours. She serves on several Kansas City area committees focusing on health and wellness for underserved students. She is the 2023 Kansas Elementary PE Teacher of the Year, an OPEN National Trainer, and an avid runner.
